Ipswich have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign Albania striker Armando Broja on loan, with an option to buy, in a deal worth around £30m.

Ufabet Sports reports the deal is likely to become a permanent move if Ipswich are relegate from the Premier League.
Broja is expect to undergo a medical with Ipswich on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old has been training separately from Chelsea’s first-team squad since returning from a pre-season tour of the United States earlier this month, with both he and the club looking to move to a new club, either on loan or permanently.
Broja has previously had loan spells at Vitesse, Southampton and Fulham, and is contract to Chelsea until 2028.
The Albania international joined Chelsea from Spurs in 2009 and made his senior debut in March 2020.
Last season he move to Fulham in January but his Promotion Ufabet playing opportunities were limit, playing 8 matches without scoring a goal.
He had previously scored eight goals in 38 appearances for the Saints in the 2021-22 season before returning to Chelsea that summer, where he scored once in 18 appearances before suffering an ACL injury.
George Hirst was Ipswich’s first-choice striker last season, but he is sidelined after undergoing knee surgery this summer. Kieran McKenna’s side also signed Liam Delap from Manchester City this transfer window, and the 21-year-old started their Premier League defeat to Liverpool on Saturday, with Ali Al-Hamadi featuring from the bench.
